Overview:

You are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) II role which will involve writing code that is understandable and clean. You are excited to solve-problems and pull insights from data, ensuring new ideas come from member experience and use.

You will report to the Software Development Manager.

You will:

  • Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for important systems, and deliver high-availability and performance.
  • Work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to design an analytical system to meet their requirements.
  • Extract large-scale data from multiple sources using ETL and aggregate to provide business insights.
  • Build analytical systems using structured and unstructured data, apply statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics to gain business insights.
  • Work with the Bots & Automation team in building analytic systems using the latest technologies.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years building successful production software systems.
  • Demonstrated track record at maintaining activity/conversation/chat volume and achieving measurable goals, quota, and quantifiable results.
  • Worked with a SaaS solution.
  • Experience with Data Structures and Algorithm Design.
  • Programming languages like Java, JavaScript.
  • Data Processing tools like Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, Hadoop.
  • NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • SQL and SQL databases like MySQL, Postgres.
  • Development with Unix, Docker, and Kubernetes infrastructures.
  • Git, Jenkins, and other development tools.
